Features

This modular enclosure can be fastened to DIN (EN 60715) rail and can be provided with several terminal covers and various front panels. There are seven versions of this modular enclosure including the 6M versions, with the possibility to assemble the terminal blocks on one side only (leaving more space for the electronic components) and the 6MD versions with the possibility to assemble the terminal blocks on both sides (enabling a wider possibility of connections).

6M53

This is the oldest version in the range. Its height including the base is equal to 53 mm. This product remains in production despite the new 6MH53 enclosure having similar features. There is however a difference between the two enclosures in the area of the terminal blocks. The 6M53 has closed sidewalls preventing access to the inside of the enclosure. The enclosure has been designed for the click assembling of three separate printed circuit boards (CSA, CSB and CSC) and, on the upper open side, front panels with hooks may be fitted. Warning!!! For this version just one type of terminal cover is available and terminal blocks can only be assembled on one side.

6MH53 / 6MDH53

This is an open version. Its height including the base is equal to 53 mm. The enclosure has been designed for the click assembling of three separate printed circuit boards (CSA, CSB and CSC) and, on its open upper side, front panels with hooks may be assembled. The sidewalls, in the area of the terminal blocks, have openings that give the possibility to access the inside of the enclosure. For this version a large variety of terminal covers is available. Warning!!! In the 6MH53 version terminal blocks can only be assembled on one side, whereas in the 6MDH53 version, terminal blocks can be assembled on both sides.

6MC53 / 6MDC53

This is a closed version. Its height including the base is equal to 53 mm. The upper side is closed and obtained by injection moulding. On this side there is a frame which enables an accurate fitting of labels. The sidewalls, in the area of the terminal blocks, are completely closed to prevent access to the inside of the enclosure. This version can only accommodate one printed circuit board (CSA). For this version a large variety of terminal covers is available . Warning!!! In the 6MC53 version terminal blocks can only be assembled on one side, whereas in the 6MDC53 version, terminal blocks can be assembled on both sides.

6MH68 / 6MDH68

This is a high version. It has an open upper side and a height, including the base, of 68 mm. As well as the possibility to fit front panels without hooks (the hooks are included in the enclosure), there is also the possibility to fit a front transparent panel with hinges. The sidewalls, in the area of the terminal blocks, have openings that give the possibility to access the inside of the enclosure. The enclosure has been designed for the click assembling of three separate printed circuit boards (CSA, CSB and CSC). For this version a large variety of terminal covers is available Warning!!! In the 6MH68 version terminal blocks can only be assembled on one side, whereas in the 6MDH68 version, terminal blocks can be assembled on both sides.
